The Signature Fern Gel™ Shield Barrier is a professional-grade protective gingival barrier gel used during in-clinic teeth whitening procedures with gels over 18% hydrogen peroxide. Its thick, no-droop viscosity allows quick, controlled application—protecting soft tissue while reducing chairtime and post-treatment irritation.
Why Use a Gingival Barrier in Whitening?
Barrier gels create a safe seal between the teeth and gums, shielding soft tissue from high-strength whitening gels. Fern’s Signature Shield offers a precise, light-cured formula that hardens quickly for reliable protection and easy removal once the session ends. This improves patient comfort and prevents costly re-treatments due to sensitivity or gum irritation.
